Animated video for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action

Samuel Carrara, who just won his Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action fellowship, wanted to have a video which could explain his research and inspire other young scholars to take this path for their academic carrier. Samuel had a small budget for the video, so we decided to rely on his voice rather than a professional one, and therefore opted to have him as the main character of the vid.

We started with a brainstorming to gather the ideas to be expressed in the video, to then draft a minuted script accordingly. We then prepared a story board which was the basis to reason on which drawings were needed for the video. We then animated everything thanks to Adobe Character Animator and largely benefitted from its function of voice sync which allowed us to produce the same video also in Italian, at no extra cost for the client!
